Inspiration Comes to me From Many Sources
Ron Paolo Gilman
My name is Ron Paolo Gilman, and my journey as a photographer is as rich and diverse as the cultures I love to capture. Striving to tell stories and capture fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. At 49, I carry the unique heritage of being born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. I often joke that I’m like a coconut—brown on the outside, white on the inside. This mix of cultures has shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for traveling and discovering the world’s beauty through my lens.
For me, photography is more than a profession—it’s a way of life, constantly framing the world in my mind.

Photography was a part of my life from a young age thanks to my father, who was a journalist photographer in his early career. Following in his footsteps, I became a freelance video cameraman for various news channels. My career then took a turn into the medical field, where I began filming and photographing surgical procedures for educational purposes.
As much as I love working in this domain, I was in search for another creative outlet to quench my artists soul. Like any photographer, me too I tried various photography theme’s like for example landscape photography, street photography, fashion, products, weddings, pregnancy and so on…to finally have found my passion in the boudoir photography domain, in which I’ve been doing for more than 15 years by now.
My goal is to inspire women to embrace their confidence and sensuality, highlighting their empowerment and femininity.
Inspiration comes to me from many sources—travel, cultures, beauty, and passionate people. I’m always seeking new impulses that trigger my senses and fuel my creativity. While I do plan my shoots to achieve a certain vision, I also leave room for spontaneity and improvisation, allowing the moment to guide me.
I work both in my studio and on location. My studio is fully equipped with strobes, backdrops, and all the necessary gear, but I prefer natural light for my boudoir shoots, often choosing locations that enhance the subject’s beauty.
One of my most memorable sessions involved a close friend who had survived breast cancer and had a breast reconstruction after a double mastectomy. She asked me if we could have a boudoir session in my studio. The shoot was one of my most favorite ever. She was radiant and graceful in her own pure self. Even proudly showing her mastectomy scars like a badge of honor. The results were just breathtaking and never I have seen a woman more than ever empowered. After choosing her favorite shots, she had them printed on large frames and gave it as a gift to her loving and supportive husband who stuck with her in every second during her ordeal. The emotional depth of this session made it unforgettable and gave me a huge impact.
This resulted for me, from that moment on, the style direction I wanted to pursue in photography.
Being a part of Glam Mom Magazine has been an incredible journey, one that I cherish deeply. This wonderful community of moms is a powerful force, continually supporting each other and showcasing their strength. Over the past three years, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in ten photoshoots for the magazine. Each session has brought me to the most beautiful locations and connected me with an amazing team and wonderful models. I am proud to be involved with Glam Mom Magazine, believing in its potential to grow even bigger and more successful than it already is today.
Journey of Beauty: From Evening Gowns to Makeup Artistry
Karima Laabich
My journey into the realm of beauty and aesthetics began with a passion for designing evening gowns. From an early age, I was captivated by the art of enhancing individual beauty through fabric and design. This creative foundation naturally led me to explore the transformative power of makeup, where I could further refine my skills and express my artistic vision.
In 2017, I officially embarked on my professional journey as a makeup artist, diving into the European market with a mix of determination and creativity. The experience was exhilarating, and it wasn’t long before I realized the potential to make a significant impact. Fueled by my passion and the desire to offer something unique, I opened my own salon in 2018. My salon quickly became a sanctuary for clients seeking a personalized and high-quality beauty experience.

However, my thirst for knowledge and new experiences pushed me to make a bold decision. In 2019, I chose to close my salon and embark on a journey to explore the beauty landscapes of the Arab world. This decision opened doors to incredible opportunities, including participation in prestigious events such as Miss Arab World 2019 & 2024 and the Lalla Laroussa show in Morocco. These events were more than just platforms to showcase my skills; they were arenas of learning and growth where I could exchange ideas with other talented professionals and stay abreast of the latest trends.
Traveling and working across different cultures has enriched my perspective on beauty. Each event, each collaboration, has taught me something new, allowing me to blend diverse techniques and styles into my own work. The dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the beauty industry keeps me motivated and continually drives me to innovate.
My journey reflects a deep commitment to exploring, innovating, and celebrating beauty in all its diversity. From designing evening gowns to mastering the art of makeup, and from running a salon to traveling the world, every step has been fueled by a passion for beauty and a desire to help others feel their best. As I continue on this path, I am excited to see where my love for beauty and aesthetics will take me next.

It’s a role that brings me immense joy and fulfillment, knowing that I’m helping to create spaces where women can thrive and succeed in their professional endeavors.

My son is my greatest motivation, and I am committed to being the best possible role model for him. Every day, I strive to find the delicate balance between nurturing my son and pursuing my own ambitions, knowing that my love and attention are the greatest gifts I can give him.
In essence, my journey as a mother, entrepreneur, and advocate for women’s empowerment is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and love. Despite the inevitable challenges and obstacles along the way, I remain steadfast in my commitment to creating a life filled with purpose, passion, and impact. And through it all, I am endlessly grateful for the unwavering support of my son, who continues to inspire me to reach for the stars and live life to the fullest.

He asked me to marry him after 2 months
Anna Ohanian
My name is Anna, and I am a proud mom of a 2-year-old baby girl named Kima-Rose. I am Belgian with Armenian roots. I came to Belgium when I was 14 years old, along with my family—my parents, younger sister, and a 9-month-old brother in 1996. We fled Armenia due to continuous war, economic, and political pressure. Our parents gave up everything, sold whatever we had, and took a chance in an unknown country we now call home. It was not easy to leave everything behind and start a new life elsewhere.

My sister and I were placed in a secondary school even though we did not speak Dutch. We learned the language the hard way, but also very quickly. Within 6 months, we could communicate. Going through a tough time at school, being dressed differently than others, and being laughed at was not the most pleasant period of our lives, but looking back, it made us stronger and work harder to stand where we are now. After high school, I wanted to go to the Art Academy St. Lucas in Gent, but my parents thought that “decent” studies like Political Sciences or Translation would be a better way to make a living. Trial and error had proven that my heart was elsewhere. I started other studies, and in my 3rd year, I was lucky to have found a job in the diamond industry because of my sister. This is where our lives began to take a financially better turn. We were able to enjoy life and also help our parents finish the house that they had bought.
My passion for art, design, and fashion is an everyday reminder that I am in the wrong place. Somehow, the opportunity came, and I was offered a job as an assistant manager in a well-known Italian clothing brand. After proving myself capable, I was soon managing a 5-person shop. I went to Italy twice a year and learned Italian to communicate with the head office. Haters say I was just a shop girl, but at the age of 23, I was running the game. I also had my own private shopping concept called My Dressing. By that time, I had a long-term boyfriend, and at the age of 28, we bought a house and got married. That did not seem to have been what was planned for me. After 11 years, we parted ways, and at the age of 30, I had to start all over again.

But everything happens for a reason. Another failed relationship of 4 and a half years made me think that this was it! It’s time to take a chance and do what I always wanted. I went back to my parents’ house, worked hard, pursued new studies in Interior design, and started setting up a new business. The moment I signed the contract for my new house, I met a wonderful man who changed everything in my life. He asked me to marry him after 2 months. I call him my husband now. Eventually, he joined in, and we made this house our own. Enduring corona, finishing the house, and bam, I was pregnant. Meanwhile, I was building on my new business. Slowly but surely, the company is growing.
Today, I have an agency with 8 furniture and decoration brands for B2B clients, and we offer Interior design services to both private and business clients. The company works with big architectural companies providing furniture for hotel and restaurant projects as well as residential projects. I combine motherhood perfectly with work, and I can count on my family and my husband. I don’t focus on money as much as before because the time with my daughter is so precious and it goes by so fast. A message to all women: Know your worth, never settle for less, and it’s never too late to change and turn your life upside down.
With love
Anna

Juggling Motherhood and Nursing: My Journey as a Mom and Influencer
Amna Amash
Hi, I’m Amna, a 28-year-old nurse and Instagram influencer, but above all, I’m a mother to my son, Slama, who will soon turn two. Time seems to fly by so quickly—I still remember when Slama was just a month old, and now he’s almost two!
With Slama, I experienced the full spectrum of motherhood—the challenges, the difficulties, and the beauty. I’m incredibly grateful for the blessing of having him in my life. The journey hasn’t been easy, especially in the beginning. These pictures capture a particularly intense period of my life, filled with both difficulty and beauty. Looking back at them reminds me of my strength during those challenging times.

Being a first-time mother is daunting. It’s a whirlwind of emotions—fear, love, and endless contemplation. But I made a conscious decision to face my fears with love and embrace the experience wholeheartedly.
For the first year of Slama’s life, I dedicated myself entirely to him, giving him all my time and attention. After that year, I felt confident that I could balance motherhood with my career, so I made the decision to return to work as a nurse.
Combining motherhood with a career is no easy feat, but as women, we’re capable of incredible things. I’ve been navigating the delicate balance between being a mother and a nurse, alongside all the other responsibilities in my life. It’s been a journey of trial and error, but every day, I’m inspired by my son’s strength and determination, which motivates me to keep pushing forward.
Despite the challenges, I’m determined to succeed—to be the best mother I can be while pursuing my passion for nursing. With each passing day, I’m learning and growing, both as a mother and as a professional. And through it all, I’m grateful for the love and support of my family and the amazing community of women who inspire me every day.
Cheers to all the incredible mothers out there—you are strong, resilient, and capable of anything you set your mind to.
The arrival of my precious Valentine baby has awakened a new side of me
Emma Nikogosyan
I am thrilled to share my journey into motherhood, navigating the delicate balance between business and babyhood. As the proud mother of Eliya, born on Valentine’s Day, I have discovered a depth of love and emotion that has transformed my perspective on life.
As a businesswoman, I have always prided myself on being rational and diplomatic, traits that have served me well in the corporate world. However, the arrival of my precious Valentine baby has awakened a new side of me—a side that is raw, emotional, and at times, overwhelmed by the enormity of the task ahead.
There are moments when I look at this beautiful baby girl and start to cry because she is so perfect. But there are also moments when my tears are born out of fear—fear of the obstacles she’ll face and the pain she might experience.

Motherhood has challenged me in ways I never imagined. As a Capricorn, I have always been practical and goal-oriented, but now I find myself grappling with the uncertainty and unpredictability of raising a child. The perfectionist in me struggles with the realization that motherhood cannot be planned or controlled, and that sometimes, being a good mom means embracing imperfection. Despite the challenges, there are moments of pure joy and pride that make it all worthwhile. Seeing Eliya smile up at me fills my heart with an indescribable warmth, and witnessing her learn and grow each day is a source of endless delight. These moments, which occur about 90% of the time, remind me of the incredible honor it is to be her mom.
As a business lady, I am accustomed to the hustle and bustle of the corporate world, but motherhood has introduced me to a whole new level of multitasking. Balancing baby on one breast and laptop on my lap has become the new normal, as I strive to juggle the demands of work and family life with grace and glamour. Now, more than ever, I am determined to set an example for my daughter—to show her what it means to be a strong, independent woman with a resilient spirit. My journey into motherhood has inspired me to excel as a businesswoman, not only to provide for my family but also to empower and support Eliya as she discovers her own path in life.
In the end, motherhood may be the greatest challenge I have ever faced, but it is also the most rewarding. As I navigate this new chapter with grace and glamour, I am filled with a sense of purpose and determination to be the best mother and businesswoman I can be.

Suzi Q
Death always comes unexpectedly, especially when you are so young and you are making plans for the future.
When Anna would get older, we would be having our second baby together. We were even negotiating if there would ever come a third one or not like we were on the market. “No, 2, maybe 3” and then shook hands. We had such good laughs about it. We take life for granted like there will always be a tomorrow. That morning when I left for work, I thought I would kiss him goodnight again in the evening. Instead, I had to give him one of my last kisses forever.

Every last moment I had with him in the morgue, I took. I held and kissed him as much as possible. It was almost impossible not to, because I knew these moments wouldn’t last.
I washed him, together with my mother, I wanted to give him as much personal care as I could, from wife to husband. I did it serenely, discreetly and lovingly. I dressed him in his beautiful wedding suit. In the clothes he wore on one of the most beautiful days in our lives.
I really needed to do that; I could’ve never lived with myself if I would let those things just pass me by. You could even say it was therapeutic to do.
The only thing that comes up in your mind at that moment is “this is not happening, this is not happening, this is not happening”. Spiraling in your mind and thoughts on repeat.
It is such a hard thing to realize, so surreal. Hoping for every moment that he pops out of a door, laughing that this was all a stupid joke.
The morning after that night he took his own life, you wake up, you open your eyes and you slowly realize what happened, he’s gone, it was not just a bad dream, this is really happening. This is your life from now on. Or what you can call “life” at that moment.
Time has stopped.
Going to the morgue started to become a daily routine. You wake up, cry, get ready and go see him. It gave me comfort knowing I could still see and hold him. But you know that time will come when you have to say goodbye. That last day, we were all together, the entire family, we led him together to his coffin. But when we came around the corner, I saw the coffin. The shock hit me and my body broke down, I fell through my knees and a loud howl and cry filled the room. This is it, this is goodbye, no more visiting, no more talking to him, nothing.
My heart could not handle the fact that I would never see him again. That the day after his day, I can’t come back here to him.

My heart hurt the most when realizing that Anna would never grow up with him, she would never know what an amazing father he was. He was so sweet and made her laugh so many times. He felt so proud when he could make her laugh that his eyes teared up every time… I was so proud to look at my little family… I am still processing and thinking how I could bring such news to Anna when she will be asking for her father in the future. But first, I will make sure she gets all the love and care she deserves from me and the family she has now.
The strength and willpower you get from your child is unbelievable, when I look back at those first months, I realize how everything kind of went on autopilot. You just do it all because you have to. You must do it tired, broken, crying, mourning and all this while taking care of a baby. Unreal. I am so blessed to have such amazing parents and family who were always there for me. My biggest respect to mourning widowers who must do this alone, it is inhumane I tell you, the pain you are suffering, the unexpected moments when sadness just comes like a dark cloud over you. How many times I cried behind my desk or in my car. But with a baby, life goes on. You can’t just lay in a corner and cry. You have to get stuff done, all for the sake of your child. She deserves the best; she deserves a strong mother that will power through everything every time.

It has been almost one year since he passed away. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him, it still hurts so much and I don’t think the pain will ever go away. Even after a year, I still don’t fully understand why. Suicide doesn’t give you instructions, it leaves you with so many unanswered questions. Even guilt, you feel bad for all the moments you had a disagreement, you start doubting yourself, you start blaming yourself. And yes, sometimes I am mad at him, for leaving Anna and me like that, and yes sometimes I am mad at the world, but in the end, you must respect his decision. You can’t force someone to live and be happy.
My prince charming, I miss you, I love you and I hope that you found what you needed. That it gives you peace. I want to thank you for giving me the best gift ever: a cute little version of you and me. In her, there will always be a piece of you. So in a way, I hope you are always with us.
Biggest kisses, Suzie Q

Ganesha
Hi dear sis,
hi Glam Mom readers!
We have fantastic news. My shop exists this year 25 years and in the winter my mom’s shop 44 years. Time flies so quickly when you love what you do every day! The shop articles changed in all these years, we have now more kids’ stuff since I got my two sons but we have also a lot for students with a small budget, like posters, postcards. When I started it 25 years ago, it was with lots of vintage posters and so but having two kids and a lot of customers with kids we changed the concept of store.
We sell brands like Jellycat and Sonny Angels more then 17 years, Maileg, Bon Ton Toys, Smiski, lots of children books. But also a variety of posters, postcards, eco totebags that we make ourselves for 18 years! We have also a lot of students in our shops, and a lot of tourists. It keeps me young and happy to meet all these peoples. Since my boys, Liam is 22 years and Noa is 18 years are getting bigger, I have also more time for myself. Since they went to high school, and university. I don’t need to bring them to school anymore, they have also their sports and they have also a girlfriend since couple of years.
That dynamic feeling, girls in a house of men is so vibrant, so joyful! I love it! Talking about fashion, make up, or even spiritual things is so nice for me. Fran and Manon have already a place in my heart! Between Liam and Noa, I had a miscarriage, a baby girl Lily-Rose. A little beautiful sparkling star in heaven. I always get signs of her and my loved ones who are in heaven, with butterflies, feathers, ladybugs, telling me that they are ok.
When Noa was very little, he told me that he came in the place of Lily-Rose that touched my heart so much. I will never forget that moment. I am very proud of my /our sons! They become two independent, strong, beautiful inside-out men, both with a beautiful empathic heart. Their dad and I are also more then 30 years together, and I see things that they pick up from our relationship to their relationship with their girlfriends. Really cute to see.
Since I have more time for myself the last years, I try to learn and study new things. Meditation and chanting I do for 10 years every day, but I also had courses in coaching that I can use also in my shop. We have lots of people who comes to tell their person problems or happiness feelings. It’s not a “normal” shop. It’s a shop where my clients feel welcome, where they can feel safe and still have a talk. They also get a free magic stone, a quote of the day, some extra love. This year I will also study a reiki course, and I want do teach also holistic massages. Maybe I can combine these things with my shop, we will see what I will do. For now, I’d like to learn and live in the now. What the future brings nobody knows.
Every day I still go with a happy feeling to my shop. And when I‘ve had busy months with loads of work, I try to travel or take some time off to let my brain rest and be creative again. Selfcare is so important. I hope I can still work long with my mom; I’m blessed and grateful that we can work and eat together every day! She is my angel! The whole year we will celebrate our anniversary with free giveaways, free Misses G tattoos and walk in dancing.
I hope to see you one day in our shops!
Love

A pregnancy photo shoot is not just pictures, it is the preservation of a unique period in a woman’s life
Marina Litvinova
I am Marina Litvinova, am a studio photographer, shooting in the genres of pregnancy and female portraiture. My way in photography began in my youth when I first picked up a camera. I have always been fascinated by the emotions and moments that can be captured through photography. One day a girl approached me with a request to conduct a pregnancy photo shoot. This experience was so inspiring that I decided to devote my career this way. A pregnancy photo shoot is not just pictures, it is the preservation of a unique period in a woman’s life. Pregnancy is a time of anticipation and joy before a new stage in life. It is important for me to capture not only external changes, but also the internal experiences of the expectant mother. This is a special state that I want to convey through the pictures, so that later the family can return to these moments and relive them.

Some tips for expectant mothers in preparing for a shoot
Firstly, it is important to choose the right time for a photo shoot. Usually this is the period between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, when the tummy is already quite round, but the expectant mother still feels comfortable. Secondly, it is important to discuss the style and concept of shooting with the photographer in advance. Prepare clothes that will highlight their tummy and will be in harmony with the chosen look. And most important is to relax and enjoy the process. Natural emotions and sincere smiles always make pictures special.
What inspires me
I am inspired by the women themselves and their stories. Every pregnancy is unique and every woman brings something different to the photo shoot. I love seeing how the mood changes, how the light appears in their eyes when they talk about their future children. This is incredibly moving and gives my work sense.

My future plans
I’m planning to continue developing this direction, to create new projects and possibly organize training for other photographers. I also want to travel more and take pictures of future mothers in different parts of the world to show the beauty of this period in different cultures and traditions.
Glammed: An Attitude, Not a Lifestyle!
Lima Kas
As a hardworking entrepreneurial woman and mother of two lively young teenagers, I am constantly on the move. My days are filled with hopping on and off planes, as Prime speaker and jury member at international PMU championships and events. I travel the world to train other PMU artists and have an exclusively designed technique called Signature BROWS, which combines shading, machine strokes, and blading to provide each client with unique and perfectly healed results. I embrace every challenge that comes my way.

Balancing both roles as a boss mom can sometimes be challenging, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. For me, motherhood isn’t complete without the glamorous moments my work brings and that I can pass on to my clients. It’s often said that a happy woman is a happy mother, and vice versa. Happiness is an energy you create for yourself and radiate to those around you. In my clinic in Antwerp, I welcome various well-known Flemings, influencers, and all other women and men who want to experience my advice and skills. I help my clients create a natural look that suits their personality. This goes far beyond just permanent makeup, as I believe it’s important to help women with their small insecurities rather than change them.
Recently, I started collaborating with a cosmetic doctor specializing in Botox and fillers injectables. I believe these treatments, combined with my permanent makeup, give women the opportunity to bring out their natural beauty while reducing their insecurities. It gives me immense satisfaction to help women and make them radiate self-confidence. Being glammed is more than just an outward appearance; it’s a mindset. It’s about making and wanting to spend time for yourself and making the most of it. When you sit in my chair, you are not just a client, but also a friend. Together, we ensure you feel your most beautiful, both inside and out.
Much love from a Glam Mom to you
